    Dobie Snack

    Here in Dar es Salaam we have crows. I think they are universal to every place and country although these crows happen to NOT be indigenous to Tanzania. Well, I have wanted to kill which ever a** who decided to bring them here. They are the NOISIEST most OBNOXIOUS birds ever! They will sit and sqwack and make all kinds of racket. And they will dig through garbage. They are just nasty creatures.
     
    I have regularly seen Psycho Doberman attempt to chase these birds. I think if she could fly, she could get pretty close but the airborn advantage they have is a bit hard to overcome. She barks at them with all her might to try to make them go away. It is quite comical to watch. But I feel bad for the poor Dobie because she is fighting a losing battle. That is until this morning. As I am walking to my car I see a feather, then another feather, then a feather pile, then feathers everywhere, then those little teeny down feathers in a clump. Hmmm. It seems as if a bird has been in a serious attack in my compound. No body. Only feathers.
     
    Maybe Dobie got her snack after all.
    Do crows taste like chicken?

    Don't know if I would want to find out if it taste like chicken.........yeeeck. I did however eat my first Dove being that is was opening weekend and everyone seemed to be out hunting them. It was good, but  that could have been the jalapeno and bacon that was wrapped around it!
    We got black birds but I think they are Crackles or somehting like that, don't know if that is a different name for a Crow or not, but they drive me CRAZY!!!

    Well looks like the Dobie finally ate crow.  At least thats one less sqwack box you have to contend with.  Do you guys have sea gulls?

    Well I for one hope that he did have a snack.  I am no fan of crows they tend to drive me nuts!
    I would threaten to send C to Africa with you but he would think that was a reward not a punishment.  Thank for the suggestion though!
